I requested two individual birthday cakes and a traybake for my children’s birthday. I mentioned the themes we were having, and I expected perhaps the colouring to be matched. I was so impressed with what they had produced when I collected. They had gone above and beyond. Not only that, the cakes tasted fantastic and so fresh. Very reasonably priced and such helpful staff. I thoroughly recommend and will be using again.

We visited Tea on the Green yesterday for Christmas afternoon tea as a group of 8. The teashop is decorated beautifully inside and out, it felt like a Christmas grotto! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating for our fussy kids. We quickly received our hot drinks once seated in the cosy tearoom, where the kids loved their fancy hot chocolates and delicious coffee for the grown ups. We had the adult and children's afternoon tea, both were absolutely delicious and looked almost too good to eat! (we devoured the lot!) Our sandwiches were topped up without even having to ask, scones were warmed & teapots refilled - nothing was too much trouble here. We met and had a lovely chat with the owner herself, who made us feel so welcome and genuinely wanted our kids to have a magical Christmas experience - mission accomplished! If you are seeking a fairly priced, but extravagant Christmas tea, I would highly recommend booking here.

Popped in for a coffee and a sausage roll after a walk with my wife. Sausage roll was lovely.. I promised a 5star review as I accidentally knocked my coffee over their counter and they done me a 2nd one

Great selection of food and cakes. Milkshakes and slices of cake are HUGE. Staff all smiley and friendly. Very dog friendly. Milkshakes were made from ice cream and milk and cream on top! Real chocolate chunks in the milkshake and not over sweet, very good! Can't wait to come back!

The milkshake was absolutely delicious, and the portions of lunch huge. The pizza was a bit odd as was just ciabatta with tomato puree, and cheese. I added chicken and it wasn't that tasty but it was OK. Great location, nice inside and out. On a nice day the outside tables ran out.

This tearoom is in a beautiful building (free parking in front and behind) - very small - seated quite close. It was packed when we visited at 12.15 on a Saturday. You can reserve a table online though. I ordered the club/avocado sandwich - it was huge I just about finished it. All sandwiches etc are served with crisps, coleslaw and salad. We had a pot of tea each and all together it was about £13 each, great price. Staff friendly and attentive - we will definitely be visiting again.

Requested some trays of sandwiches and cakes for my son’s birthday party on Monday to be picked up on the Sunday morning. Lots of info and choices provided. Picked them up Sunday and they were all ready to go, and beautifully presented in nice boxes. The sandwiches were lovely, on fresh thick bread and generously filled. The cakes were also really lovely and all of the food went down very well at the party! Highly recommended and will be using again.
